Ryan Frederick

Mr. Frederick lives at the intersection place and healthy aging. He is the CEO of SmartLiving 360, a strategic consultancy and consumer platform focused on creating housing options and helping people make good decisions about place in the context of healthy aging. He advises real estate developers, senior living providers and health systems nationally. He is the author of Right Place, Right Time: The Ultimate Guide to Choosing a Home for the Second Half of Life which released in October 2021 with Johns Hopkins University Press. He is particularly vocal about the benefits of intergenerational housing.

Mr. Frederick serves as a member of the National Advisory Board for the School of Nursing at Johns Hopkins University, has been appointed to the Bipartisan Policy Center Health and Housing Task Force and is a fellow of Nexus Insights, a think tank disseminating innovative models of community, housing, and care for older adults.

Mr. Frederick holds a BSE degree from Princeton University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He resides in Austin, Texas with his wife and three teenagers.
