You’ve probably heard the adage before: Nobody on their deathbed ever wished they had spent more time at the office. I thought a lot about that when I heard David Brooks TED talk, where he contrasted ‘resume’ and ‘eulogy’ values – really urging us to weigh what matters in life, and what doesn’t.
Here in Northern California, where tech innovations are the norm, many apps promote resume values – accomplishment, material wealth. But are there apps that promote what can’t be measured? Read my Wall Street Journal blog post.
