Vibha Dixit joined Encore.org in 2018 to expand the Encore Fellowships Program in San Francisco and the East Bay. She enjoys bringing innovative ideas and models to help encore fellows transition to meaningful second careers in the social impact sector.
Vibha brings extensive entrepreneurial experience from co-founding her own IT professional services company, which provides emerging technology consulting to companies worldwide. She led her firm for over 20 years by developing relationships with corporate clients and partners as well as managing software projects. She acquired over 300 enterprise customers from diverse industries in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Australia.
Recently, Vibha has embarked on her own “forever learning” encore journey by completing a MBA from Wharton and traveling to Australia, China, France, India, and Rwanda for strategy and social impact projects. Her most memorable experience was meeting with the Rwandan President Paul Kagame as part of Wharton’s leadership course to learn about the country’s remarkable progress from its genocide only 23 years ago. She is currently a board member of YWCA Silicon Valley.
Vibha has a B.S. in Statistics from the University of Mumbai, India, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The Ohio State University.
